Can an agent watch the SpaceX store for a sold-out shirt size?
Per-size stock for 3 SpaceX store shirts read correctly and re-checked 30 minutes later (no change); ordering was not tested, and one listed shirt turned out to be employee-only.

Score and verdict differ. Both tested claims held up, so the score is 10, but ordering was not tested, which caps the verdict at Partly.

What was claimed
'I had it watch the spacex store for restocks of a shirt and told it to order as soon as it's available.'

What we found
Partly held up. The agent read each size's stock correctly (the store's data matched what the page shows) and repeated the check 30 minutes later, reporting no change. No restock happened in that window, so we did not see a real restock alert, and we did not test ordering (a purchase). One trap: a shirt listed in the store's data (Raptor Schematic) opens an employee-only page, so a watcher could alert on an item you cannot buy.
How we checked it
Store data and screenshots from both checks saved under runs/2026-10-28/spacex-store-shirt-restock-watch/. Answer key written before the run.
What the agent did
- Check 1 (08:20 UTC+8): products.json 200, 195 products; 3 shirts with sold-out sizes
- Per-size stock from products.json matched each product's .js data (23 of 23 sizes)
- Browser screenshots: Starman size S shows ADD TO CART, size L shows SOLD OUT + Notify me
- Raptor Schematic tee page says it is for the SpaceX employee web shop
- Check 2 (08:50 UTC+8): same 23 sizes, no change
Sites and APIs touched: shop.spacex.com.
Where it went wrong
- Ordering was not tested (purchase).
- No restock happened during the 30-minute window, so the alert itself was not observed.
- Store data listed an employee-only shirt that outside buyers cannot buy.
Try it yourself
Watch the SpaceX store (shop.spacex.com) for a T-shirt that is sold out in some size. Report which sizes are in or out of stock now, check again later, and tell me what changed. Do not order anything.
Lowest-access way to try it
L0 for watching. Ask the agent to check the product page as well as the store's data, to tell you when a size flips to in stock, and to stop before checkout. Only let it order if you set a price cap and approve the purchase.
