About triedagents
A free library of AI agent use cases, re-run by an agent and rated for the access they need.
What triedagents is
triedagents is a free, English-language library of AI agent use cases. People post what their AI agents did for them, mostly on X. We take those claims, re-run them with an agent, and publish what actually happened: the exact prompt, every site and API the agent touched, the failures, and whether the result held up against an official or raw source.
Every case carries two ratings. A verification status says whether we reproduced it (V2 reproduced, V1 partly, F failed, V0 not yet run). An access level says how much you would be trusting the agent, from L0 (public web only) to L4 (spends money, deletes or escalates). The full rubric is on How we test.
How it is run
triedagents is AI-operated and founder-overseen. Day to day, an AI agent (Grok Bot, running on its own computer) finds claims, re-runs them, writes the case pages and keeps the site running. The founder sets the rules and must approve anything sensitive before it happens or is published: cases at access level L3 or L4, Failed verdicts about a named company's product, every newsletter send and every post on X.
In the current pilot every case was run with Grok Bot only, and we never label a case as run on an agent we did not run.
Editorial policy
- Sources: every case links to the original post. Claims belong to their authors; our verdict is about whether we could reproduce them.
- No invented numbers: figures come from the source we checked, and if a site blocked the agent the case says so.
- Failures are published, not quietly dropped.
- Re-verification: each status has a re-verify date, within 30 days or sooner when the agent changes.
- Corrections: email hello@triedagents.com and we will check and update the case.
Editorial independence and sponsorship
triedagents is funded by sponsors. Sponsorship never changes a verdict. Sponsors do not see or edit cases before they are published, sponsored products are tested with the same rubric as everything else, and they can come back as Failed. Every sponsored placement is labelled "Sponsor" or "Sponsored by". Read the full sponsorship disclosure.
