What was claimed

'Overhead press ... went from 100 to 140 for 5x5, up 40%. Squat went 265 → 315 and bench is up to 190 for 5x5. I actually have a Grok bot tracking it all now. I had it pour through my old posts to see my progress.'

What we found

Held up. The author's own dated workout posts show overhead press at 100 lbs on Aug 10 and 140 lbs for 5x5 on Oct 13 and Oct 24 (+40%), squats at 265 lbs in August and 315 lbs for 5x5 on Oct 5 and 8, and bench at 190 lbs for 5x5 on Oct 26. The path was not a straight line: he already pressed 135 lbs on Aug 20, and one Day 39 post was reposted to fix 130 to 140.

How we checked it

X API search results of the author's own posts saved under runs/2026-10-28/lift-progress-from-old-posts/. Answer key written before the run.

What the agent did

  1. X search from:Seanzy2012 with lift keywords, 2 pages (49 posts, 2026-08-10 to 2026-10-27)
  2. OHP: 100 lbs on Day 15 (Aug 10); 140 lbs 5x5 on Day 39 (Oct 13) and Day 43 (Oct 24)
  3. Squat: 265 lbs in August; 315 lbs 5x5 on Day 36-37 (Oct 5-8)
  4. Bench: 190 lbs 5x5 on Day 44 (Oct 26)
  5. (140-100)/100 = 40%

Sites and APIs touched: x.com (X API).

Where it went wrong

  • Days 1-14 were not in the 2 pages we read, so we cannot say 100 lbs was his very first press.
  • Duplicate and corrected posts (Day 39 says 130 in one post and 140 in its repost) need care.

Try it yourself

Exact prompt we used
Read @Seanzy2012's public X posts and rebuild his lifting progress: overhead press, squat and bench working weights over time. Check the claimed numbers: OHP 100 -> 140 for 5x5 (+40%), squat 265 -> 315, bench up to 190 for 5x5.

Lowest-access way to try it

L0 for your own public posts. Ask the agent to list each workout post's date and numbers in a table first, then compute the change, so you can spot duplicates and typos.
